Mathlab - What do students learn?

Each child will do one experiment in a week at the school math lab. It means one period a week of 40 minutes duration must be allotted in the Time Table of all Classes from I to X. Each weekly session will combine fun, excitement and challenges in learning mathematics. Each class will do 25 experiments in an Academic Year.

On completion of an experiment, students will observe and then make conjectures with their teacher’s guidance.  As a result, learning process will take place not by rote memorization but through understanding the concepts behind them.  Besides, scientific evaluations of graded record sheets of a Lab Record Book will deepen the learning process and teaching of mathematics is bound to take less time with minimum drill.

Concepts have to CAUGHT and not TAUGHT
